THE LATEST
THEATRE PRODUCER
Jamie Wilson Productions
I am the associate producer for a world-leading producer of Musicals in the West End with a focus on Development, Investment, and creative producing.
In 2024 alone, JWP is responsible for Mrs Doubtfire heading into its second year at the Shaftesbury Theatre, Sister Act staring Ruth Jones and Beverley Knight/Alexandra Burke at the Dominion, Two Strangers Carry a Cake Across New York at the Criterion, Just For One Day premiering at The Old Vic, as well as having The Devil Wears Prada which Elton John has written the music for heading for The Dominion following a short run at Theatre Royal Plymouth. The output is huge and it’s a privilege to be a part of the team.
In other news with me, I am proud to share that I have accepted the position of Patron of Baobab Survivors Centre. The Baobab Centre is a non‑residential therapeutic community that offers holistic support to young survivors of human rights abuses seeking refuge in the UK. I look forward to working with Baobab once again, sharing further theatrical experiences with the Baobab community and encouraging Young People to continue to tell their own stories with each step of their journey

JWP - General Management
This year for me was about refining my general management skills - experiencing the highs and lows of running two West End Productions with some of the most talented individuals in the industry. Highlights include Mrs Doubtfire at Manchester Opera House, Sister Act at the Eventim Apollo (starring Jennifer Saunders and Beverley Knight), South Pacific at Sadlers Wells and Ain’t Too Proud at the Prince Edward Theatre.
2021 - SPRING 2022
THE BYMT Associate Producer Chapter.
Under the guidance of an incomparable executive producer (Sir Jon Bromwich), I was responsible for programming, planning and delivering 20 productions along with a national audition tour and yearly events programme.
Goblin Market at the Yvonne Arnaud (click here) was a huge highlight. Producing shows in some of my favourite regional theatres in the country was a proper treat (Theatre Royal Plymouth, Theatre Royal Winchester, The New Wolsey Theatre, the list goes on…)
A gorgeous inclusive stomping ground with a HUGE body of work behind it. I was grateful to even be a small part of their journey.
And onwards…
